Our purpose at Freedom Farm is to assist and serve the developmentally disabled community, from all walks of life. Whether you are a gifted child, or retired veteran, our facility is here for you, offering services Equine Therapuetic services.

Freedom Farm Foundation provides a safe place to connect, grow, learn and heal.

For Veteran services, we have partnered with Warriors At Rest (W.A.R.)

Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward,  improving your quality of life within self, family and community. 
We  promise to be there for you every step of your journey.

OUR FOCUS

Our focus is to provide a neutral safe space with licensed/certified professionals in natural therapies such as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Therapuetic Horseback Riding, Equine Assisted Veteran & First Responder Programs, and other natural cutting edge science based approaches working synergistically with classic approaches to align mind, body, and spirit.

Get to know Our Farm &

Our founders

Our Farm, built in 2021, consists of a therapy office, break area, tack room, feed room and restroom, all of which are air-conditioned for our clients. When our horses aren’t working with clients they enjoy 12×12 stalls with open exterior 12×16 run outs, stall fans, fly system, stall cameras, indoor hot /cold wash racks and daily paddock turnout for social time and grazing.

What We Offer

Equine Assisted Veteran and First Responder Programs

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy


Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) involves horse interactions in experiential therapy led by mental health professionals trained in equine-assisted techniques.

Therapeutic Horseback Riding

Therapeutic Horseback Riding, or horseback riding therapy, utilizes horse interactions for therapeutic treatment, offering physical, emotional, and psychological benefits to individuals with disabilities.

Equine Assisted Veteran & First Responder Program

Equine-Assisted Programs for veterans and first responders utilize horse interactions to enhance mental health, addressing challenges like trauma, stress, anxiety, and PTSD unique to these individuals.

ACCREDITATION

We go above and behold industry standards. Following both eagala and PATH and having certified trainers in both.

Our program follows the EAGALA, Equine Assisted Growth & Learning Association, model which incorporates a certified Equine Specialist, a Licensed Mental Health Professional and a team of approved therapy horses.

Our center is a PATH International Certified Center with a PATH International Certified Instructor and a team of amazing volunteers and approved therapy horses.
